Cobb Salad Recipe

This is one of the most favorite salad preparations of people across the world. With all the ingredients like eggs, bacon, chickens and salad dressing, it just tastes awesome! Go through this simple recipe given below. It takes only 50 minutes to complete and serve the salad at your table.

Ingredients

8 slices of bacon

Three eggs

1 head shredded iceberg lettuce

3 cups chicken meat (chopped, cooked)

Two seeded and chopped tomatoes

Crumbled blue cheese - 3/4 cup

1 peeled, pitted and cubed avocado

3 chopped green onions

Ranch-style salad dressing - 1 (8 ounce) bottle

Directions

Put eggs in a frying pan and with cold water cover the eggs completely. Let the water boil. Put a cover, remove it from heat, and let the eggs stay in the hot water for about 10 to 12 minutes. Take the eggs out from the hot water, cool them down, peel and then chop them.

Place the slices of bacon in a big, deep skillet. Cook the bacon slices on medium-high heat until all the slices are uniformly brown on all sides. Strain, crumble the pieces and set aside the pieces.

Separate the shredded lettuce in the different plates equally.

Equally divide and place chicken, bacon, tomatoes, eggs, blue cheese, green onions and avocado in a line on top of the iceberg lettuce leaves.

Sprinkle with Ranch-style salad dressing according to your requirements and enjoy the salad.

You can use feta cheese instead of blue cheese. You can garnish it with cheese and boiled corn. You can add vegetables like carrots, yellow squash, zucchini, cabbages etc. to make it nutritious. You can also add mayonnaise if you want to make a creamy texture. You can also use serve this salad with fried chicken wings.
